He's actually relatively easygoing and accepts himself as he is in ways that I (generationally, with the parents i had, etc.) am nowhere close to doing...
Thanks for stopping by!
Love,
FSMFull Spectrum Mamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11460737436704927666noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6227616579829607218.post-7125820810806119932015-02-13T06:40:47.918-08:002015-02-13T06:40:47.918-08:00Wow. My son will sometimes mistake strangers for people he knows too, but I don't know if it's frequent enough to warrant the diagnosis. I think it's more of a little kid just trying to make connections.

For example (this is kind of funny and extremely embarrassing), we were at a choir concert, and a rather large high school boy walked by and my son says, "Whoa. That's a big one." Then he pauses and says, "Is that Uncle Bob?" (as you can imagine, Uncle Bob is a rather large man.).

By the way, I loved your line about the denizens of New York. Hilarious!Mommy Catharsishttps://contemplativechaos80.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6227616579829607218.post-24384533058607921262015-02-11T12:22:29.576-08:002015-02-11T12:22:29.576-08:00That's awfully generous of YOU, my friend.

My 9 year old seems to think "close enough" = "the same" LOL! He'll see people that look like his favorite tv characters and insist that is who they are! And me? Well I think I recognize faces ok but boy can I forget a name--not even funny! But what I use more than a face, is the sound of their voice. That will clue me in much faster than the persons face--especially if it's been a while since I"ve seen them.
Merri Lewishttp://www.treasuresinthedust.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6227616579829607218.post-42074534962582992142015-02-10T06:13:31.097-08:002015-02-10T06:13:31.097-08:00Awwwwwwwww!
